Things to note: How many times does Barak Obama mention that it "sounded good on paper"? And THAT is the difference between socialism and free market economy. Socialism (Obama) sounds terrific on paper, but in practice? Yeah, we saw how great that turned out.

So I want to start by apologizing for the stalker-like nature of this comment. PJ King shared this post, which intrigued me, and I was hoping to get some commentary from you about it. Now that the consequences of this economic blunder have been realized, what do you believe this country should do about it?
First off, yes. I'm a bit freaked out by the incredibly stalkerish nature of your comment. (I.E., I have no idea what you meant by that. ;)
Okay, is your question refering to this COUNTRY or this GOVERNMENT?
I'm a libertarian. I believe the GOVERNMENT should do absolutely nothing and the people in the COUNTRY should cut up their credit cards and live within their means. I believe this recession/depression/crisis whatever is good for us. Remind us to stop spending money we don't have.
